You’re trying to eat better.
You’re drinking more water.
You’re working on your mindset.
You’re showing up for your family.
You’re checking things off your list.
And yet…
You still feel tired.
Overwhelmed.
Behind.
Frustrated that nothing is really changing.
So you think…
“Maybe I need more discipline.”
“Maybe I need to try harder.”
“Maybe I’m the problem.”
But what if none of that is true?
Most people aren’t stuck because they’re lazy.
They’re stuck because they’re carrying stuck points.
And the wild part?
Most of them don’t even realize it.
Stuck points can show up in ways you’d never connect at first:
Sound familiar?
That’s not random.
That’s something underneath the surface running the show.
In fact, most people are carrying stuck points across multiple areas of life:
So even if you’re “doing all the right things”…
you’re still pushing against resistance you can’t see.
Here’s what most people do:
They add more habits.
More routines.
More pressure.
But if there’s a stuck point underneath…
You’ll keep looping back to the same place.
Not because you’re failing.
Because something is still in the way.
You don’t need to overhaul your life.
Start here:
Where do you keep getting stuck?
Same reaction.
Same frustration.
Same cycle.
That’s your clue.
Next time you feel overwhelmed, stop.
Take a deep breath.
Ask yourself:
“What’s really going on here?”
That moment of awareness is powerful.
You are not meant to carry everything you’ve been carrying.
Sometimes what you need isn’t more effort…
It’s release.
You can’t create a different life
while carrying the same internal weight.
At some point…
It’s not about doing more.
It’s about clearing what’s in the way.
And when that happens?
Things start to shift faster than you expected.
Energy comes back.
Clarity returns.
Action feels easier.
You’re not broken.
You’re not behind.
And you’re definitely not alone.
You might just be carrying more than you were ever meant to.
And once that’s released…
Everything changes!
Edith, thank you so much for sharing this… I can feel the honesty and heart in your words.
What you’re experiencing is more common than people talk about, especially during seasons of life where things are changing and shifting around you. And wanting more than just “being alive” is not something to feel guilty about… it’s actually a sign that there’s still so much life, desire, and purpose within you.
The fact that you’re recognizing this and are open to trying something different says so much. That awareness alone is powerful.
Be gentle with yourself as you start… this isn’t about forcing motivation, it’s about slowly releasing what’s been weighing on you for a long time.
And please know… it is absolutely not too late for things to feel lighter, more fulfilling, and even joyful again.
I’m really glad this gave you a bit of hope… you deserve that and so much more.

I’m in my 70s and you would think that I have my life all figured out by now, but I don’t. I have felt so frustrated and stuck lately. My friends are dying and I should be happy that I’m alive, but I want more than just being alive. I think I’ve had a block for years, like the stuck points you refer to. I have so many finished projects and puzzles around my house and can’t get motivated to finish any of them. I’m going to try what you are suggesting in hopes that things get better. Just reading this makes me feel better and gives me hope that things can improve in my life, even at my age.
